Simple Exercises for Heart Health
According to the teachings of ancient Chinese medicine, the human body is a microcosm through which flows of energy move. There are 12 of these channels or meridians. To maintain your health and gain longevity, you need to monitor their patency, and for this, it is enough to perform simple exercises.

Flexion movements help improve cardiovascular function, activate the brain, and prevent and heal heart disease and cognitive problems.

Execution technique

Starting position - sit on a chair or stool, keep your back very straight. Do not lean against the back of a chair or other support when exercising. Extend your ribcage a little, tighten your abdomen. Relax your shoulders completely, and lower your arms so that there is free space in the armpits - an air gap the size of a small egg. Bend your elbows horizontally at chest level. The palms look down and are shaped like tiles. With the tip of your tongue, touch the upper palate, close the molars tightly, close your eyes.

Bend (connect and spread) your fingers in the following order: 2, 4, 1, 5, 3 or index, ring, thumb, pinky, and middle fingers.

  • Index Fingers - Take your time and bend your index fingers down and toward the center of the palm as close as you can. This movement refers to connection. Hold your fingers for 20-60 seconds, and slowly straighten them to their original position. This is a spreading movement.
  • Now bend the ring fingers of both palms as described above.
  • Thumbs up.
  • Little fingers.
  • Middle fingers.
As you exercise on your fingers, try to simultaneously perform similar movements on your toes. This can be difficult, but gradually you will master these movements. To feel an even greater effect, try to consciously control the whole process, and you will achieve that without much difficulty you will move your toes alternately.

After doing the exercise, turn your palms up and take a deep breath through your nose. Then lower your palms down, exhaling through your mouth. Repeat the exercise 3-5 times.
